Africa on the move

We would like to thank the Henri Dunant University College for this partnership in the organization of this symposium which was a success.

The symposium aimed to:

• better understand the causes and drivers of African migrations and their complex links with development;

• reflecting and discussing the lack of awareness and violation of the rights of African migrants which have become subjects of international concern, as evidenced by the slavery of African migrants revealed recently, has shown the horror that these migrants experience;

• to examine and collectively reflect on possible ways of evolving this human phenomenon in order in particular to ensure the effectiveness of the Convention on the Protection of All Rights of Migrants and Members of Their Families of 18 March 1990 (in force since 2003).
